“Jy is sterker as wat jy dink!”
Jackie en Sy vroutjie het twee miskrame in een jaar beleef. Die duiwel wou nie net hulle blydskap steel nie, maar wou ook hulle huwelik, bediening en drome vernietig. Jackie gaan hierdie getuienis en ander lewenslesse met ons deel. Ons as mans het almal uitdagings, teleurstellings en trane wat ons ervaar. Jy moet egter weet dat JY STERKER IS AS WAT JY DINK JY IS EN JY IS STERKER AS WAT JOU HUIDIGE SITUASIE JOU LAAT LYK!

19 Augustus 2016 – Sheila Klinkenberg
“Die pad wat Hy met my stap!”
Op 8 jarige ouderdom het Sheila vir die Here gesê sy wil graag deel wees van die Geestelike stryd in die Ooste. Sy het nie altyd dit voor oë gehou nie, maar HY het! Sheila sê “Elke persoon het ‘n unieke lewensplan – Hy wag net tot ons uitroep na Hom om dit tot vervulling te bring.”
Sheila kom kom getuig Vrydag oor die pad wat Hy met haar stap!
12 Augustus 2016 – Rian Etienne
“Het ek God se stem gehoor, of was dit my eie onseker eggo’s?”
Toe Rian sy werk by die SAUK verloor het, het dit gepaard gegaan met sóveel onsekerheid: onsekerheid oor hoekom dit gebeur het, onsekerheid oor wat môre inhou. Rian sê “Dis donker ure waardeur jy worstel. Dan verras God jou: Hy laat jou op besondere wyse verstaan dat Hy jou glad nie vergeet het nie.”
Nou is Rian in Kaapstad en daar is ‘n geknaag: het hy God se stem gehoor, of was dit sy eie onseker eggo’s?
5 Augustus 2016 – Oswald Opperman
Oswald het gedurende Julie Thailand besoek as deel van ‘n uitreik om ons sendelinge daar by te staan. Oswald beskryf dit as ‘n lewens veranderende besoek. Tydens die besoek het hulle wonderlike mense ontmoet en gelooflike geestelike ervarings gehad. Oswald skryf: “during our visits to some pastors in remote villages we encounter some extremely beautifull places. But also some amazing spiritual encounters and discussions about their mission field.”
Natuurlik het Oswald ook tyd ingeruim om die beste koffies van Thailand te proe en om te leer by al die baristas.
Die tema vir die besoek was dat “God aan die beweeg” is en Oswald gaan ons vertel hoe hulle dit in Thailand ervaar het.

22 Apr 2016 – Gert Korah
Gert Korah en sy vrou Evelyn is die uitvoerende leierspaar van Jeria Sending. Jeria Sending is ‘n interkerklike geloofsaksie wat hom ten doel stel om geestelike sowel as opheffingswerk onder die plaaswerkers, kinders en jeug van die Swartland en Weskus omgewing te doen.
Gert is gebore en het groot geword op die plaas Klipfontein waar Jeria Sending geleë is. Reeds as jong seun het hy die Here aangeneem en het hy ‘n baie ernstige pad met die Here begin loop. Evelyn het in Uitenhage groot geword.
Hulle gaan praat oor hoe die Here hulle geroep het en voorberei het. Hy gaan ook meer vertel van wat hulle nou doen.
19 Feb 2016 – Dr Lena Kravtsov and Dima
They have a vision burning in their hearts to build up a ‘medical mission practice’.
Dr Aleksander Kravtsov and his wife Lena are medical doctors in Haifa, Israel. They live a sacrificial lifestyle of constantly serving people.
Aleksander and Lena emigrated, together with thousands of other Slavic Jews from Russia and other countries of Eastern Europe, to Israel. They were Orthodox Russian Jews that ‘discovered’ Jesus as their Messiah after they came to Israel. A Messianic Church in Ukraine became their covering and they started a Messianic Congregation. When we were there they had 75 very dedicated and active members in the congregation. The church is constantly growing and is taught to be actively involved in their community by serving and caring for the needy and through ‘friendship evangelism’ introduce others to Jesus as their Saviour and Messiah.
For this visit only Lena could come to SA. She will share their vision and passion for Israel to come to the revelation-understanding that Jesus is their true Messiah. They have an extremely full program in both their congregation and their medical practice. Alexander’s responsibilities, both as pastor and surgeon, were such that he could not make the time to come to SA now.
They are both great visionaries with real pioneer spirits. Lena is an excellent communicator and is able to give a lot of info about Israel. She will be able to share with understanding how to share the Gospel with Orthodox Jews. They have a vision burning in their hearts to build up a ‘medical mission practice’. There is an urgent need and opportunity for that in Israel. They have a few other doctors in their congregation and they already started with ‘Mercy Ministry’ where doctors, in their free time, serve the people in need. At present they are renting one floor of a building for their ministry. They want to rent the second floor for their Medical Mission Practice.
Lena is bringing with her a very interesting and informative video that they made about their work and vision and also with important facts and info about the current situation in Israel. Dima, an excellent young interpreter from their parent church in Ukraine, who has been to Israel often and is also very involved with their mission. He came with Lena to South Africa. He speaks fluent English and will be Lena’s interpreter from Russian to English.

In sy eie woorde, “I am going to share about my old life and the family, our country. the war in Syria and how God led me out of there. Also my time here in SA and the way God got me to be involved in ministry. the situation of the refugees and the visions God put on my heart.”
