Aan die woord hierdie Vrydag is een van ons eie, Klasie van Heerden. Hy en sy vrou Ida het hulle permanent in Thailand as sendelinge gevestig. Klasie kom gee terugvoer oor die werk wat hulle daar doen.

20 April 2018 – Janie Beukes
Janie Beukes has been in government and specifically Correctional Services for almost 35 years. He finished as a General Manager overseeing offender rehabilitation programmes. He holds Qualifications in Psychology, Management and ultimately a Masters Degree in Intercultural Communication from Stellenbosch University.
As motivational speaker, he is currently involved in different projects such as Gender based violence. Other possibilities include the role of positive parenthood in crime prevention. He is a firm believer in human potential. There is therefore a strong emphasis on motivating people, regardless of age, to continue developing themselves. He believes that there is always hope despite the challenges we my face.
13 April 2018 – Benescke Janse van Rensburg
Benescke Janse van Rensburg is ’n radio-omroeper by Radio Tygerberg en ook skrywer van verskeie inspirasieboeke, insluitende topverkopers met getuienisse soos God was dáár en Ontdek God in die stories van mense. Haar nuutste is die 5 minute saam met God-dagboek wat in Februarie 2018 verskyn het. Sy is getroud met Johannes, ’n biokinetikus en hulle het twee dogters, Joalé (5) en Ziva-Mari (2).
Benescke het ’n passie vir God en vir mense. Dit bly vir haar ’n voorreg om God se liefde vir ons deur alledaagse getuienisse te demonstreer in haar skryfwerk.

6 April 2018 – Stephan Opperman
Hy is gebore en het groot geword in Bloemfontein, in die hartjie van die Vrystaat. Nadat hy gematrikuleer het werk Stephan by ʼn wegneemete onderneming waarmee hy ook later in vennootskap tree.
Hy verlaat egter die bedryf en sluit vrywilliglik by die Suid-Afrikaanse weermag aan en voltooi sy basiese weermag opleiding teen middel 2000. Stephan vervul sy passie vir militêre oorlogvoering in beide die Kommando Korps asook die Reserwe Mag. As seun van ʼn befaamde sportman en ‘RSM’ is orde, struktuur en dissipline waarin hy floreer.
Stephan het ʼn besonderse liefde vir mense en sy hart is dat mense in ʼn absolute eenheid met God leef. Nog meer dat mense so ʼn lewenswyse sal aanneem. In hierdie liefde vir die kinders van God gebruik Heilige Gees hom kragtig deur geestelike gawes, onder andere die profeties. Hy tree ook op as intersessor en ‘teacher’ om die kennis van God deur die Woord en Heilige Gees suiwer en akkuraat neer te sit.
As gevolg van Stephan se betrokkenheid by intersessie regoor Suid-Afrika raak hy betrokke by ʼn Bediening met die naam van Father’s Voice. Vandag tree Stephan op as ambassadeur in die korporatiewe omgewing en is dit sy hart om Jesus aan mense voor te stel. Sodat elkeen uit liefde die ‘goeie nuus’ kragtig kan verkondig. Een van sy take is om mense op te rig, te help en te aktiveer met die einddoel dat elke persoon in oorgawe, in sy/haar skeppingsdoel/identiteit en geestelike gawes kan lewe.
Sy visie is om die leiers van Suid-Afrika toe te rus met liefde, sodat ons land deur vaders bestuur kan word.

Hierdie week se spreker is die bekende filmmaker Frans Cronje. Frans kom gesels oor sy projekte waarmee hy besig is.
9 Maart 2018 – Marius van der Westhuizen
Marius doesn’t have the success story of artists who have “made it” in the music industry. He is a work in progress and desires to make a difference in the lives of people through his music.
Marius believes that God empowers one to go through challenges because the challenges we face are not as important as who we have by our side while going through them. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Psalms 34:19 KJV.
In 2013 Marius released his debut single “Young one” under the artist name Nu Journey. A lack of funding and ongoing pressures however prevented him from pursuing a career as singer/songwriter. In 2017 Nu Journey released a second single “Less of me”.
Marius’ desire is to use his music to make a difference in the lives of people across the world who are going through struggles of their own.

s for the many days I have been given to live, I have a short timeline to speak of the many chances our Father in Heaven has given me to change, to submit, to live in freedom of Spirit. This opportunity I have been given to talk to my fellow brothers in Christ of a life God saw in me and That Our Lord took the time to work in my life. 23 Februarie 2018 – Ryan Slater
Growing up in Durban on a surfboard, singer and songwriter, Ryan Slater learned to read the tides. He set his biorhythm to the rhythm of the sea and wind to ensure he does not miss the perfect day. Ryan finds it much the same in the Kingdom of God where the Holy Spirit is being compared to the wind, and Jesus said, “I only do what I see the Father doing”. When writing his new single, Perfect Day, he had a strong sense that God simply wanted to romance him. “He wanted me to run away with Him in the good old Song of Solomon fashion”. As he picked up his pen, the words ‘When God’s wind blows, it’s a perfect day’, just dropped into his mind. That set the theme for the entire song, which is an expansion on the romantic sailing away theme.
This worship leader at Journey of Grace Church currently lives in Durbanville at the start of the world’s longest Wine Route. Ryan now also has learned to discern good wine from bad. He found the Blood of Jesus the strongest, most satisfying and most intoxicated of all wines. “The fact that Jesus died my death and lived a perfect life, ticking all the boxes on my behalf, still gets me joyfully staggering around like a drunk!” Because of Jesus, Ryan will forever be living in gratitude and in alignment as to where the Wind is blowing and where the Wine is flowing.

Die besoek aan Suid Afrika van “Kasr El Dobara Evangelical Church” in Egipte is ongelukkig uitgestel tot ‘n latere datum. Seth het egter op kort kennisgewing ingestem om met ons te kom gesels.
