The Lord has placed it on my heart to share my journey from being a senior officer in the SA Navy, thoroughly enjoying my career, to reaching a point at age 38, having become extremely dissatisfied with where my career was heading. I will share more detail in my presentation about this.

I went in search of a new challenge/career. Through a good friend and with our good Lord’s guidance I started a business. To become successful, I realised that I needed to reinvent myself and learn some new skills.

I believe that in todays world everyone needs to understand the importance of reinventing oneself. Gone are the days where you left school, went to university and started a job, and then stayed there until you retired.

I’m happy and excited about sharing my testimony with the men and trying my best to be an encouragement to the brothers in their walk with God and His Kingdom.

So, with regards to my story, just growing up in church as a simple young man in a Christian home.

But I found myself to be in the house, but lost until God saved my life, and as they say, rest was history.

Ek kom vertel van ons afgelope besoek aan ons sendelinge, André en Marina, in Thailand. Ek was weer opnuut uitgedaag oor hoe ek daagliks my geloof uitleef. Ek moes maar net weer besef hoe die “eie ek” my vrede steel.

Ek sal bietjie getuienis deel, oor my boek gesels en hoe God my tans leer om, tov finansies en voorsiening, ten volle op Hom te vertrou.

Vroeër in my lewe was daar al ‘n paar geleenthede waar ek sou kon getuig oor hoe God my gedra het deur moeilike tye en hoe hy teëspoed verander het na voorspoed. Die laaste paar jaar was egter bietjie anders in die sin dat ek nog steeds baie bewus was van God se teenwoordigheid en sy hand in my lewe, maar dat ek sukkel om te sien wat God se plan is en waar ek daar in pas. So, my getuienis gaan ongelukkig nie een wees van oorwinning nie, maar een van iemand wat nog sukkel om sin te maak van die wêreld en God se doel vir my daarin.
