Alex van Dyk is well-known in the South African Music Industry as Sound engineer and Technical support. He heads up Solid Events and have worked extensively in the South African Music Industry supplying sound and all the technical requirements for events. What people do not know about him is that he himself can also sing and write music. One Million Miles is his first attempt at entering the market as singer-songwriter.

Alex Steyn was tot 2010 werksaam in die Suid-Afrikaanse musiekbedryf as algemene bestuurder van die land se grootste Christelike musiekmaatskappy. Hy was betrokke by die musiek van kunstenaars soos Juanita du Plessis, Riana Nel en Louis Brittz.
Ongeveer 10 jaar gelede het hy die musiekbedryf verlaat om die roeping van die Here te volg en hy dien tans onder andere, as tentmaker-leraar by ‘n gemeente in Durbanville.

Arrie werk tans vir ‘n sport bestuur groep in Stellenbosch nadat hy die afgelope 5 jaar as Algemene Bestuurder Publikasies by Namibia Media Holdings in Windhoek gewerk het. Hy is die aanbieder van die Sportmanne vir Christus program op Radio Tygerberg en het gedurende die Britse en Ierse Leeus rugbytoer in 2009 na Suid Afrika op die bestuur van die Springbok rugbyspan gedien as Media Koordineerder.
