Ek kom deel met julle my storie,
Van Wes-Transvaal se stof paaie tot hier aan die hange van ou Tafelberg.

In die kollig van godsdiens en tradisie hou ek my oog op die dinge van die Here en ek vergeet om te fokus op die Here van die dinge.

Die gevaar van godsdiens….My Damaskus pad, waar Jesus my kom red het.

Want min weet hoe blind hy is, voordat hul nie n bril gekry het nie.

Hierdie week se spreker, Quintin Cook, was nou onlangs by ons Jong Ysters Kamp by Boegoeberg as ‘n gas van Jacques Malan.

“The Lord has shown me an abundance of grace. From as early as 9 years old, the doctors told my mom to say good-bye to me, as I have less than an hour to live. And by faith I am still here today.
From about the age of 12 I have used the “I’m a Christian card” but yet my life never resembled it until I became truly born again in 2018.
Even when I was still living in the world, the Lord showed me mercy and grace and if I look back now I can clearly testify that His love for us never stops.
Since then the Lord has worked with me and through me in many ways.

Through my testimony I’m hoping to share and touch on having Faith, Being Obedient, Being bold for His Kingdom and alot more if time plays in our favour.”

“Growing up in Namibia most of my life. I wanted to fill my mothers shoes in modeling. However a very traumatizing event had aquired.

Fast forward 6 years later…

God healed me from Depression and a 6 year illness, PCOS (only effected in women).  I had to train my mind to know my true identity in Christ and that my identity does not lie in the worlds standards but what God’s says about me. God taught me in these 6 years of wilderness and desert seasons of my life how to “Overcome and be set free completely“.

I will share these strategies and how I had to win the war in my mind. How I had to focus on the end goal and not let the “now” traumatize me.

I will also touch on deliverance and the power of the Name of Jesus.”

“Daar het baie dinge in my lewe gebeur sedert ek my hart vir die Here gegee het in 1990. Wat egter uitstaan is toe my vrou so ongeveer 5 jaar gelede hospitaal toe gegaan het met ‘n ernstige bloeiende aneurisme. Vir 6 dae het sy in die hospitaal verlore geraak. Sy moes toe uiteindelik vir ‘n nood operasie gaan het toe sy gevind is. Op die operasietafel het sy gesterf maar met genade is sy weer by gebring. Na die operasie was sy vir 33 dae in ‘n koma.

Dokters het gesê sy sal nooit weer regkom nie, dis onmoontlik, sy sal in ‘n vegetatiewe toestand wees. Uiteindelik is sy wonderbaarlik genees. Ek het altyd gewonder of God nog mense uit die dood op wek, maar hier het ek dit self beleef.”

Tiaan het ons vroeër vanjaar vanjaar op 30 April besoek.

“Die boodskap wat ek voel God op my hart druk, is om te praat oor die bonatuurlike voorsiening en guns wat God gee vir die wat Hom vrees en soek bô dit wat ons vlees nodig het!

Ek gaan spesifiek fokus op Matteus 6:33, en dit deel maak van wat onlangs in my lewe gebeur het.”

My lewenspad het baie uitdagings gebied en dit is vandag nog so. Dit is egter nie net waar van my nie maar vir ‘n groot skare medegelowiges. God loop egter met elkeen van ons ‘n unieke pad, want hy maak nie “carbon copies” nie – net “originals”. Hy het my tussen alles deur geleer dat Hy altyd by ons is, altyd voorsien of ‘n uitkoms bied en dat ons te midde van ons gebrokenheid en kwesbaarheid vir Hom bruikbaar is, omdat Hy ons waarlik onvoorwaardelik liefhet.

Hy het my geleer dat dit OK is om nie OK te wees nie. Sou u belangstel om uit te vind wat die verband tussen ‘n hout deur en my verhouding met God is, wil ek u graag uitnooi om Vrydag te kom hoor wat God daaroor vir my te se gehad het.

Vrydag is Julita ons gas.  Sy was laasjaar in Oktober by ons en gaan vir ons op hoogte bring van waarmee sy besig en haar plan om deur Afrika te reis.

Shane survived cancer twice.  After the 1st time he ended up being a manager in the biggest bouncing company in SA.

“I was Commanding Officer of the executive team for the Saudi Royal  family and spent time in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.  Got arrested when I got back joining the bouncing Company again and went 2 Pollsmoor.

I made a decision not to have my daughter visit me in a place like that and do something more professional with less problems from external factors.
I went out to sea end 2013 and started the first of 5 years in hostile environment in West and East Africa (Somali pirate waters East Africa). Upon my last mission East Africa in 2017/18 I got sick again at sea.  Another 2 years of chemotherapy… this time with radiation and some other stuff.

18 years ago they put me on permanent disability due to immune system compromised and blood.

I was invited to South African Strongest Man Championships Under 105KG from 2012 for 3 years in a row.  We made history as no cancer survivor has ever been invited to any South African Strongman Championship ever.  I am planning a comeback with 3 world records in the pipeline.”

Shane se getuienis gaan oor hoe jy Jesus ontmoet het en die rol wat Jesus in sy lewe speel.

Jongste van 5 seuns groot geraak in n hotel met 5 kerke knoppie langs my bed maar toe ek Jesus gesoek het was Hy nie daar nie, waar het ek gesoek….

Ek het op Hom gegil en toe eers hoor Hy my….

Volgende dag was daar groceries vir 2 maande, hondekos ook as Jesus my ken wow wat gaan hier aan…..
