Shane survived cancer twice. After the 1st time he ended up being a manager in the biggest bouncing company in SA.
“I was Commanding Officer of the executive team for the Saudi Royal family and spent time in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Got arrested when I got back joining the bouncing Company again and went 2 Pollsmoor.
I made a decision not to have my daughter visit me in a place like that and do something more professional with less problems from external factors.
I went out to sea end 2013 and started the first of 5 years in hostile environment in West and East Africa (Somali pirate waters East Africa). Upon my last mission East Africa in 2017/18 I got sick again at sea. Another 2 years of chemotherapy… this time with radiation and some other stuff.
18 years ago they put me on permanent disability due to immune system compromised and blood.
I was invited to South African Strongest Man Championships Under 105KG from 2012 for 3 years in a row. We made history as no cancer survivor has ever been invited to any South African Strongman Championship ever. I am planning a comeback with 3 world records in the pipeline.”
