8 November 2019 – Deon Botha

I served in the SA Police in 2 Specialised Units from 1984 to 1995 executing specialised tasks including bodyguarding VIPs such as Madiba…FW…Mbeki….Vlok etc etc
In 2004, I went to Iraq and is still there currently working for International NGO.

My experiences of witnessing and partaking in multiple traumatic events led me to PTSD and alcohol dependence and many other sins until the Lord through His mercy and compassion saved me in 2015.

To Him be the glory and honour forevermore !

—- Dames Welkom —-

“A Million Miles is not only a story about how my journey with Him transpired, but rather something to keep in our hearts every day.  It’s our journey with God, going forward.

Every time we seek Him, He reaches out to us. But we’re so caught up in life that we often miss what He is showing us. Even if He shows us A Million times.

We must just keep seeking Him and get to know him better. The more we get to know Him, the easier it will be for us to understand His ways.”

Alex van Dyk is well-known in the South African Music Industry as Sound engineer and Technical support. He heads up Solid Events and have worked extensively in the South African Music Industry supplying sound and all the technical requirements for events. What people do not know about him is that he himself can also sing and write music. One Million Miles is his first attempt at entering the market as singer-songwriter.

20 September 2019 – Anthony Stander

Rebel Without a Cause Meets the King of Kings. From darkness, fear and pain in childhood, Anthony was on the train of death, with war in his heart. Anthony fitted right into the Parabats and before he was 20 years old, he had already fought in many battles.

After the excitement of military life, facing death, Anthony drifted deeper and deeper into trouble, sin and crime. By 23 years old he had ruined his life, was arrested for armed robberies, including a Bank robbery and sentenced to 30 years imprisonment…
